Biography

Tong Ye received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2005. He was with the Chinese University of Hong Kong for one and a half years as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. He is currently an Associate Professor with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he is with the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Optical Communication Systems and Networks. His research interests include the design of optical network architectures and optical switching networks, and the performance evaluation of communication protocols.
